hmm... been 2 weeks since i last updated... been too busy playing and doing work etc...

played bball today. pretty good stuff, think i made 5-6 turnaround jumpers... much better than recess showing etc. still, ben wee owned my specs... got a cut below my eye... bah.. rather smarting and doesn't alleviate when i close my eyes... but not a big cut tho... guess just some occupational hazards... haha...

well. haven't started studying for the exams yet. so fun. but i seriously cannot be bothered this year... i mean its like GEP there's only 60 people, and i can realistically only compare marks with those 60... so its like, if i can't get something like top 5 in those 60, why even bother? i mean i was 7th at the semester 1 term report and that's not particularly good... its not like in mainstream O level or mainstream IB where they give prizes for top 5 so even top 5 is not so good... but still. not like i can hold a candle to mun or moh since my average in sem 1 was q far off theirs...

yet, people have started studying already. but i haven't. its like i have no energy, no motivation left at the end of the year. can't do my ISO (yes, its not finished.) can't be bothered with geog fieldstudies. its like i just gave up at the end of term 3, when all the major projects converged together and owned us. oh well. at least phuan commended my EOS, despite the fact it was 2 times the word limit... 3200 words.... haha. who wants those measly 2 marks for discipline anyway.... guess i'll have to change that soon.... seems like IB follows it very strictly...

meanwhile... i guess i'll just amble along and fall flat on my face at the end. it is the last hurdle of the year. the last out of 400 m. would you gather enough strength to jump over the hurdle, or would you just knock it down and crash?

hope y'all will keep striving forward, even as the year comes to a close. times are hard, things are difficult, but yet somehow, someway, with God's strength, we will overcome.

as we pray for Sam Chan and our exams, let us not forget our calling as students, to study hard.
